Cardiff airport is an airport offering domestic and international flights from the United Kingdom and specifically caters its services to the people of Wales due to its location – situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, this airport is the only airport in Wales which offers international flights. Public transportation is easily accessible to and from the airport with bus services being a key provider. It is linked, by a large number of buses, to the important stations and other places of interests in the country.

The Cardiff Airbus X91 is a dedicated bus service offering transportation to and from the airport; it is operated between the city centre of Cardiff and the Cardiff Airport landing field. This is complemented by the 95 bus service. Other than this, there are many more bus services provided like the 345 which is handled by the EST bus company, service X45 which is operated under the Shamrock company (although we’re in Wales, not Ireland!) and lastly the service X5 which is handled by the First Group of Companies. There are also some airport shuttle buses which you can easily get from Cardiff train station or bus station heading for the airport.

You can get the regular bus service to the Cardiff central station from where you can catch the direct buses for the airport. The internet provides you all the information related to the fare and the timetables of the various buses. With the growing vitality of the airport, provisions are being made for the expansion of transportation services. Thus, to get to or from Cardiff airport you can very easily catch a variety of buses and can reach to your destination in an organised and timely manner.
